Albert Sigei

Albert joins the Angaza Board as an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in the professional services and corporate sectors. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership roles, including Chief Executive Officer, Chief Finance Officer, and Vice President of Strategy & Business Development. His extensive global experience spans diverse cross-cultural geographies, including Kenya, Egypt, Nigeria, United Kingdom, Malawi, Rwanda, and South Africa. This broad exposure across Africa underscores his deep passion for the continent’s development and his unwavering focus on aligning business purpose with societal needs.

With a wealth of knowledge in general management, operations, business development, strategy development & execution, change management, and talent development, Albert brings invaluable expertise to the Board. His impressive career has seen him contribute to various boards as both an executive and non-executive director. Additionally, his innovative and entrepreneurial approach to business is exemplified by his role as the founder of two successful ventures in the technology and construction industries.

Albert possesses a multi-disciplinary background that includes Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, Risk Management, and leadership. He holds a Master of Business Administration qualification from the Edinburgh Business School (Herriot Watt University – UK), a first-class honors Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nairobi, and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA – UK). Furthermore, Albert has graduated from prestigious executive courses offered by Ivy League Business Schools, including London Business School (UK), INSEAD (France), HEC Paris (France), and Ivey Business School at Western University (Canada).
