Impact
- Number of students in Member Schools enrolled in the program: Successfully enrolled ~14,400 students in our digital literacy program. Each student represents a life transformed and a future empowered. Member Schools using technology to teach other subjects.
- Number of Member Schools: We have onboarded 18 Member Schools in two countries -- Kenya and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
- Number of Devices Donated: 2,455 devices donated -- 2,325 of these are laptops. We donate 30 to 40 devices to each Member School; these make up the digital literacy labs that we establish in every Member School.
- Rate of Geographic Expansion: Significant strides in geographic expansion, reaching 16 regions within 8 months. This demonstrates our commitment to scaling our impact across Africa.
- Spend per capita: Consistently strive to optimize our resources, and we are proud to have lowered our Spend per capita to $6.05, ensuring cost-effective and efficient implementation of our initiatives.
- Partner School Engagement: Six (6) Partner Schools in the USA. 35 students in three (3) of the Partner Schools fully engaged in conducting peer-to-peer digital literacy. We prioritize strong engagement with our Partner Schools, fostering mutually beneficial relationships that enhance the delivery of our program and amplify our impact.
- Partner Corporation Engagement: 5 Partner Corporations donating computer devices and committing for long term engagement.
- Angaza Center Staff Performance: Dedicated team members are the driving force behind our success. Expanded our team to 6 – includes a full-time Chief Operations Officer on the ground in Africa, ensuring effective program management and operational excellence.
- Growing Volunteer Network: Volunteer network in the United States continues to grow, with dedicated individuals contributing their skills and time for social media work, donor outreach, and grant research. We’re beginning to launch recruit volunteers in Europe and Africa. This collective effort strengthens our organizational capacity and expands our reach.
